Overview

The Kneeling Leg Curling isolates the hamstrings one leg at a time, working the biceps femoris, semitendinosus, and semimembranosus through a strictly unilateral curl. Kneeling into the machine flexes the hip and lengthens the hamstring before the movement begins, so each rep starts from a deep pre-stretch and travels through the muscle's full contractile range under continuous tension.

An adjustable elbow pad sets that pre-stretch to the lifter's leg length and preferred starting position, keeping the arms braced and the form honest rep after rep. Because it trains one side in isolation, the machine exposes and corrects left-to-right strength gaps that bilateral stations hide, which makes it a useful piece for rehab-minded facilities, sports performance rooms, and commercial floors that program serious posterior-chain work.
