Super seated calf

Overview

The Super Seated Calf develops the triceps surae from a seated position, with the knee bent to bias the soleus and medial gastrocnemius. Working the calf with a flexed knee shifts emphasis off the two-joint gastrocnemius and onto the soleus, the endurance-heavy muscle that a standing raise tends to underload, which makes this a direct complement to standing calf work.

Height-adjustable push pads set the knee position for different leg lengths, and the included Tibial Kit lets lifters also train the anterior tibialis for balanced lower-leg strength and shin resilience.
