The Panatta Lower Back machine trains the thoracolumbar extensors through spinal extension against resistance, strengthening the muscles that hold posture and protect the spine under load. An adjustable starting angle sets how much range each lifter works through, and a cam matches the resistance to the movement so the load stays appropriate from the flexed start to full extension.
The machine is 140 cm wide, 150 cm deep, and 160 cm tall, weighs 185 kg, and runs a 50 kg stack that upgrades to 120 kg, selected by magnetic pin behind a transparent polycarbonate guard. A wide footrest platform gives a stable base for the extension.
